Great regional cuisine with an unbeatable price / performance ratio! The meat from Galloway beef, which is sustainably raised on the pasture next door, is particularly recommended.

Have ordered food to be picked up today: -1x Almost raw schnitzel (the thick half was still completely pink) and breading of all the schnitzels was softened (side salads were converted into shrimp salad and not given at all) -Weird distribution of the portions of cheese spaetzle were filled into the smallest pot, diameter 15cm, the bottom was maybe 2cm covered (pot was intended for small side salads for schnitzel), the side salad was missing here too -Despite reservation, the cooking was only started when we wanted to get it -Additional salad with prawns was ordered but all side salads (including the small ones from the schnitzel and the goose breast and the cheese spaetzle) were apparently thrown into a bowl with a few prawns and that was the prawn salad although there was a bowl for the salad that came but empty back so 8 euros for free - Goose breast sauce was too salty and very thick The visit was definitely over and I would give 0 stars for the performance if it worked.

The food is good, we especially like the Galaway cattle, the service and the hosts are quick and friendly. The dessert is recommended, especially the one with the homemade egg liqueur. We can only recommend the restaurant. We are happy to go there, although we don't live just around the corner.

Nice quiet place not too far from highway. Good for short overnight stop. In winter time seems famous place for cross country skiing .

Because of traffic jam on the highway and hunger Google searched for country inns and found the Kornbachtal inn. What luck. Great food at absolutely affordable prices. Nice service. Eaten, drunk, laughed ... we'll be back.

Very nice and welcome place! Don't expect luxury or a modern renovated hotel. It's more like sleeping at your grandparents, in the best meaning of the word. First about the staff. They don't have any. He stands behind the bar or sits next to you and she is cooking. The food is home made from fresh ingredients and typical local and..... for no money! The drinks are the same. The room was of average size in a eighties style. The bed was good and everything was clean. Two downsides. There was no soap available and the hot water in the shower was not running. For the price you pay you should take your own soap, which I always Cary with me. Regarding the shower he told me that he will look into it. I believe him? The breakfast was made on demand (I was alone there that night). Ask for an egg. This is a fresh bio egg. Really tastefull. The wifi is good and fast which is good as there is no gsm signal! So I made my calls over WhatsApp. At the moment payments are possible only over a booking channel or cash. They are installing a terminal in the coming weeks (11/2019). and when you come home you'll find a nice thank-you-mail in your mailbox. Overall this is a place where I will return gladly. P.S. I told him to raise prices, as he will not survive like this. If prices are still low, give them an good and honest tip!

We are from Berlin and always look forward to serving here. The Kornbach rushes, the sun warms, the food tastes very good. Today a Galloway burger is trying ... Mmmm. The traffic, sometimes more times less, you forget quickly. There is a parking lot in front of the door .... I have been here again for 49 years ?
